This page explains the general approach to cancellation and refund requests for TrustLedger professional services.
Last reviewed: 20 August 2026. The written quotation or engagement confirmation for a specific service will prevail where it states different terms.
Before work begins
If you request cancellation before professional work starts or costs are committed, TrustLedger will review the request and confirm any refundable amount after deducting disclosed payment-processing or unavoidable charges, if applicable.
After work begins
Once consultation, document review, preparation, drafting, filing coordination or another agreed activity has started, fees relating to work already performed or resources already committed may not be refundable.
Government and third-party charges
Government fees, stamp duty, portal charges, certification costs, payment-gateway charges and other third-party amounts are normally non-refundable once paid or committed, unless the relevant authority or provider returns them.
Incomplete or delayed information
Delay or inability to complete a service because required information, documents, approvals or responses were not provided does not automatically create a refund entitlement. TrustLedger will explain available next steps.
Duplicate or incorrect payment
Report a duplicate or incorrect payment promptly with transaction details. Verified excess payments will be reviewed for correction or refund through an appropriate method.
